![]() 2017 - Winter FlowersThe early winter snow served as a beautiful frame for these flowers in my parents' front yard. | ![]() 2019 - Frost Kissed"Happiness is like a kiss. You must share it to enjoy it." ~Bernard Meltzer | ![]() 2017 - Frost FansI love the texture in this one. | ![]() 2017 Frost GrassThe softness of this plant is just beautiful. I can imagine this image as a beautiful scrapbook background. |
![]() 2021 Twisting Branches with Frost"Have a dream, chase it down, jump over every single hurdle, and run through fire and ice to get there." ~Whitney Wolfe Herd | ![]() 2019 - Signs of Spring"Education is the ability to listen to almost anything without losing your temper or your self-confidence." ~Robert Frost | ![]() 2019 - Frosty Buds"Laughter is the sun that drives winter from the human face." ~Victor Hugo | ![]() 2019 - Snow CrystalsI spent a good hour in my driveway trying to adequately capture the beauty of the ice crystal on my car window before I had to defrost it to drive. |
![]() 2020 - White Flower Tendrals"The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched - they must be felt with the heart." ~Helen Keller | ![]() 2020 - Frost on Dead Hydrangea"A person starts dying when they stop dreaming." ~Brian Williams | ![]() 2021 - Crow by BridgeFind your next adventure. This photo was taken at one of my favorite parks in Bothell, Washington. | ![]() 2020 - Light Through Trees"Hope springs eternal." ~Alexander Pope |
![]() 2017 - Hushed VitalityI rarely use filters on my photos, but I do like to click through the options and enjoy the differences. I fell in love with this filtered version. The background has a slight green tinge, which lends it an otherworld, serene, almost underwater quality. The flowers burst like fireworks, providing an interesting contrast between the dynamic nature of subject and the calm colors. | ![]() 2017 - Frosted BerriesThe geometric design of this frost on the wrinkles of these berries create an interesting, abstract beauty. Something does not have to be in the fertile young stage of life to be appealing. | ![]() 2018 - Blushing BudI took this picture at Evergreen Arboretum and Gardens on a chilly morning at the beginning of spring. These buds were the first signs that winter was over. I love the softness of the image and wish I could put into words the way it makes me feel. | ![]() 2018 - Adventure BeginsI took this image at Bothell Landing Park in Bothell, Washington. The boldness of the blue waters makes me feel hopeful, inspired, and alive. |
![]() 2018 - Coiled DropI adore the twists and turns of this corkscrew rush and the magnification of the plant behind the water droplet. | ![]() 2017 - Brides NebulaThis newly budding hydrangea simultaneously reminded me of a bridal bouquet and a alien galaxy. | ![]() 2017 - Dried BerriesAge is its own beauty. The wrinkles on these berries add to their appeal rather than diminish it. | ![]() 2018 - Dangling Bee BumWhen I edit images, I like to include mysticism and fantasy. There was a leaf hanging down that detracted from the photograph's appeal. Rather than erase it complete, I chose to smear it into a green bokah, like smoke drifting from the petals. |
![]() 2020 - Waves Crashing on LogWhat may seem like a minor storm to some, may feel like drowning to others when they are already adrift. | ![]() 2017 - Frozen ClusterI am unrelentingly fascinated by the shapes and wonder frost can add to the world. This once delicate bush now appears as sharp as a weapon. | ![]() 2017 - Nature's Rush HourThis photo was taken in my driveway and was the inspiration for my company name. I love the way the rain makes the driveway glisten and the snail ventures forth so boldly across a vast landscape. | ![]() 2019 - Monkey FriendsMy trip to Costa Rica was one of the highlights of my life. To photograph monkeys in the wild was a dream come true. These playful creatures were exploring trees in a national park along the eastern coast. |
