 2017 - Hushed VitalityI rarely use filters on my photos, but I do like to click through the options and enjoy the differences. I fell in love with this filtered version. The background has a slight green tinge, which lends it an otherworld, serene, almost underwater quality. The flowers burst like fireworks, providing an interesting contrast between the dynamic nature of subject and the calm colors. |  2017 - Frosted BerriesThe geometric design of this frost on the wrinkles of these berries create an interesting, abstract beauty. There was a leaf hanging down that detracted from the photograph's appeal. Rather than erase it complete, I chose to smear it into a green bokah, like smoke drifting from the petals. |
